Description

• The MQ-2 Gas Sensor Module is a semiconductor-based gas detection module designed to detect combustible gases and smoke in the surrounding environment. Its sensing element changes electrical resistance in response to detectable gases, producing an electrical signal that can be monitored using a compatible microcontroller. The module provides analog and digital outputs, allowing users to observe changes in gas concentration or configure threshold-based detection. An onboard LM393 comparator and adjustable potentiometer make it convenient to set a desired detection threshold for digital output applications. The MQ-2 can be connected to Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, STM32, and other compatible development boards.
